Gift-Giving Activity for the Victims of the Magnitude 6.9 Earthquakes and Typhoon Tino
After the powerful 6.9 magnitude earthquake and the devastation caused by Typhoon Tino, many families were left facing uncertainty, loss, and hardship. Homes were damaged, livelihoods were disrupted, and whole communities were forced to start over.
With this in mind, Yakult Philippines, Inc., together with Merchandise Distributors, Inc. and Gloria R. Dy Sun Foundation, Inc., came together to lend a helping hand through a simple gift-giving activity.
Our teams personally distributed essential goods and Yakult products to affected families. We know that no single effort can take away the pain caused by these disasters, but we hoped that even small gestures could bring comfort, nourishment, and remind them that they are not alone.
More than just providing aid, this initiative was about showing care and standing in solidarity with the community. Seeing the strength and resilience in the families we met was truly inspiring—it was a reminder that even in difficult times, hope continues to shine.
As recovery continues, we remain committed to supporting our fellow Filipinos—not only by promoting good health, but also by sharing compassion, care, and genuine connection in every community we serve.
